Book Review: Reflections

Reflections is a book of poetry by VS Gardner. But this isn't just any book of poetry. Instead, it is a memoir of her life with all its ups and downs. From broken relationships to raising children to finding love. From joy to sadness to worry to devotion. It's all there for you to read.

As a mom who has been through trials, I found many poems that spoke directly to my heart. One in particular, Perspective, had me in tears. Vanessa wrote it from her perspective as someone who still had her spouse. I read it from the perspective of her friend who had lost her spouse. Her introspection was spot on.

If you have ever loved, lost, cared, grieved, worried, or given over your soul to God, then you will find something of value in this collection of poetry.
