Book Review: The Burden of Evidence

The Burden of Evidence is a legal thriller by Buddy Howard. We quickly meet Paul and Katherine, a married couple with a grown child. Katherine is a lawyer. Paul is a novelist. Their son still lives at home and their marriage seems a bit quaky. And then the unthinkable happens. Katherine is sexually assaulted while coming home from getting groceries.

Paul takes it upon himself to find the man who harmed his wife. And eventually finds himself in a position to get justice. Should he? Can he? Will it come back to haunt him?

The twists and turns of this thriller will keep you turning the pages. So many times, I wanted to yell at Paul, "NO! Walk away!" but apparently he couldn't hear me through the pages!
