Book Review: The Fatal Flotilla at Sea Oats Beach

The Fatal Flotilla at Sea Oats Beach is a cozy mystery by Karen C. Whalen. Without a doubt, you will love Breanna Hart, a pet shelter volunteer and relatively new transplant to Sea Oats Beach. She is smart, pretty, funny, and ... clumsy! If she can make a situation socially awkward, she manages to do it. I laughed out loud on several occasions - especially a laundry room scene!

And let's not forget the real reason for the story - the murder during the flotilla. Karen does a great job casting doubt on a handful of subjects and kept me guessing right to the end. I was as shocked as everybody in the room when she "pointed her finger" and accused the killer.

This is a witty, enjoyable, beach read cozy mystery. Sure, it's got a holiday theme, but reading it in March didn't diminish the fun I had! Run out and preorder your copy today.
