Book Review: The Ghost of Darwin Stewart

The Ghost of Darwin Stewart by L.G. Nixon is a fast-paced Christian YA Fantasy Thriller. Yes - all of that! Talk about a book that crosses genres! Immediately, I found similarities to The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis as well as a bit of Harry Potter by J.K Rowling.

Early on, we meet the Dark Prince who realizes that the best way to get what he wants - an artifact from a girl named Lucy and her friend Schuyler - is to make them doubt who they are. He uses human emotions like anger, fear, and despondency. On the other hand, we meet the High King who uses love, meekness, and kindness. But it is up to Lucy to determine which way she will go, and the choice is not easy - especially when those she love ends up on the wrong end of the Dark Prince's wrath.

If you love a good vs evil story with ghosts, demons, and battles, then you are sure to love this book.
