Book Review: Watch It Burn

Watch It Burn is a crime thriller by Harrison Stockeland. If you like a good Italian mafia story with Dons, love, lust, and power, then you'll love this book. We meet Del and his family: a doting wife, a son from an estranged lover, and his two young twins. And despite being a Don whose business consists of cocaine sales, I immediately liked him. Sure, his business isn't on the up and up, but he loves his family. Harrison does a great job of making Del a real person, with real feelings.

It isn't long before Del realizes that something isn't the way it should be - and it appears there is a traitor in his house. And then the deaths start, causing Del to wonder who he can trust? Family? Other Dons? Bodyguards? His best friend? No one?

The twists of this story will leave you reeling right until the very last page. If you love a good book that keeps you on the edge of your seat, you're going to love Watch It Burn.
