This week, I had the absolute pleasure of diving deep into the world of mystery writing with author Karen E. Osborne, whose latest novel, Justice for Emerson, completely captivated me. If you love character-driven mysteries with heart, compassion, and unexpected twists, this book needs to be on your reading list.

What fascinated me most about our conversation was Karen's refreshingly honest approach to writing. As a fellow "pantser" (someone who writes by the seat of their pants), I was thrilled to hear her admit that even with a murder mystery, she doesn't always know who the killer is until they "reveal themselves" in the writing process!
